Jacob

Jacob Roberge

Music in all its forms

Jacob has been immersed in music since he was a child. At 10, he takes his first singing classes and starts playing the piano at only 12 years old. He then knew that his life would be centered around music. Jacob has been training for many years in classical singing (tenor), music theory, musical dictation and musical literature. As well as being versatile, he composes many styles of music and is a multi-instrumentalist (piano, guitar, electric bass, bouzouki drums, ukulele). These past years, Jacob has been part of the Choeur de l'Opera of Quebec as a countertenor and can be heard as a soloist and duo in the concerts orchestrated by the class of Madame Cécile Bédard. He also holds the role of Kurt from the musical La Mélodie du Bonheur presented in Quebec and plays the lead role in two operettas at collegial level. Even though he is the youngest, Jacob completes the vocal trio marvelously thanks to his varied musical prowess. He assumes the vocal and instrumental arrangements brilliantly.
